Overview

The Manager will be responsible for overseeing Sales Operations throughout Joint Commission Resources.  This includes:  Administration and governance of Salesforce.com, management of sales analytics, and on-going development and maintenance of sales training and sales enablement tools and resources.

 

The Manager will work with management and staff to determine business needs and work with IT to develop required applications, reports and dashboards within the CRM tool. The Manager will provide strategy and direction to ensure the Salesforce.com application aligns with, and meets business requirements. This position will manage the Sales Operations Analyst and support the sales activities of business development staff. 

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Assesses the business requirements of product lines and develops appropriate Functional Requirements for Salesforce.com based on those needs; oversees the Salesforce governance process including planning of releases:

  • Manages all new user set-ups and deactivation, configuration changes, new release evaluations.
  • Regularly audits system and data integrity.
  • Manages and implements customization request by Salesforce.com superusers and area admins, including creating workflow triggers, workflow alerts, automated email responses, modifying leads and assignment rules, case set ups and playbooks for users to follow.
  • Maintains updated system documentation and SFDC policies/procedures.
  • Develops and maintains super user group within JCR that will help with suggestions for business unit modifications.
  • Sets up web integration model – including links, webforms and campaigns – with Salesforce.com.
  • Provides reports and market analyses from JCR CRM system

Project manages the integration of the Order Management System with Salesforce and ensures optimal maintenance of the integrated data and process. 

Oversees analysis of customer and sales data to inform the sales targets and plans as well as sales forecasts. This includes development of dashboards and reports to demonstrate measurements against key performance indicators. 

Develops sales training programs and sales enablement tools and ensure successful implementation of training programs and tools.

Serves as Administrator for FinancialForce.

Develops roadmap for upcoming year in coordination with Chief Operating Officer and Director of Operations.

 

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

 

  1. Bachelor’s Degree, with a minimum of 5 years recent experience with sales forecasting, developing sales targets and pipeline reports with at least 2 years experience with Salesforce.com specifically.

 

  1. com administrator certification preferred.

 

  1. Advanced skills in business analysis with the capability to capture requirements and make recommendations on the best way to implement the requirements to meet overall business goals.

 

  1. Experience in development and delivery of end-user training for business systems.

 

  1. Experience in on-time, on-budget project management.

 

  1. Strong skills in developing collaborative relationships with business and technology departments that drive business results at all levels of the organization.

 

  1. Advanced working knowledge of Salesforce.com including formal Salesforce.com training or certification.

 

  1. Familiarity with Financial Force and Microsoft business systems a plus.

 

  1. Expert efficiency using Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.

 

  1. Knowledge of integration with CRM systems.

 

  1. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

 

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

  1. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.

 

  1. Knowledge and previous work in the health care environment with international experience a plus.
