Under general supervision of Director, Field Representative Management and Development, reviews assigned functions in disease-specific care (“DSC”) programs throughout the United States and in some foreign countries. Provides general evaluation services, education, and consultation consistent with applicable Joint Commission standards, policies, and protocols. Determines the degree of compliance with applicable standards.
Master’s degree minimum, MD/DO if applicable; current licensure and/or certification as appropriate for professional discipline. All stated college degrees must be from accredited institutions of higher learning
DSC Reviewers in Ventricular Assist Device must be a healthcare professional (DO/MD/RN) having at least three years experience in cardiac patient care with direct experience in ventricular assist devices (VADs) as a destination therapy.
