  • Overview

    The Business Systems Analyst partners with product managers, software development team and customers in the design, development and enhancement of commercial software products.  The position will be responsible for delivering quality software products to customers by understanding product strategy, customer needs, developing detailed business requirements and supporting product development and deployment.  Participates in critical phases of product development life-cycle and is responsible for design, testing, training, implementing and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor Degree in Computer Information Systems, Business or equivalent.

     

    1. 2+ years of experience in business and in a software product development environment preferably for healthcare industry.

     

    1. Knowledge in requirements analysis and use case development; experience with commercial software product development for Healthcare standard, compliance and regulatory market preferred.

     

    1. Ability to analyze business systems to identify user needs, document requirements, and address operation/process issues/improvements to accomplish business objectives.

     

    1. Strong knowledge of the Systems Development Life-Cycle Methodology like Agile. Requires knowledge of project life cycle methodologies, data flow diagrams, use case development, work and process flow diagrams, web interface design, data modeling, reporting and technical architecture.

     

    1. Ability to understand concepts governing relational database structures, use reporting/query tools, and construct SQL statements.

     

    1. Exhibits strong problem solving and facilitation skills. Strong customer service orientation for both internal and external customers.  Uses business knowledge and technical expertise to identify and analyze problems and assess potential issues to improve products in a timely manner.

     

    1. Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

     

    1. Works independently and according to established procedures and policies.

     

    1. High energy, strong work ethics, quick learner and team player
