  • Overview

    The Director of Business Process Technology manages and directs all operational activities associated with the ACO Business Systems, Data Analysis, Application Innovation and the Scheduling Department.


    The position will lead a team/unit responsible for creating, innovating, implementing and enhancing the relevant business processes and data management across the accreditation and certification process, including onsite survey application process. This unit will develop and provide clear and accurate business requirements and work collaboratively with the Information Technology (IT) department to manage multiple, complex projects to create technology systems that provide for effective and innovative work processes. Focuses on business process analysis and re-engineering across the division, with an understanding of business problems and new innovative solutions.


    Additionally, responsible for the oversight and maintenance of a central office infrastructure for the development and management of the scheduling department and supporting IT systems, including the scheduling engine to optimize the scheduling routes. Directs, plans, organizes, and monitors the scheduling of accreditation surveys and certification reviews across all product lines, for the entire customer base, representing approximately $70 million in revenue. Manages and analyzes surveyor availability to ensure all surveyors are utilized, staffed and assigned travel cost-effectively, ensures a work-life balance, and is according to corporate policy. Directs all operational activities associated with the Surveyor Compensation model.


    1. Master’s degree in Computer related discipline or Business required.
    2. 10-15 years of experience including technology innovation, business process redesign and strategic planning.
    3. Ten years of experience leading the product design, development, test, and implementation of information systems. Includes experience in the user support and operations of application systems.
    4. Experience with building relationships and ability to interact with a wide range of individuals both within and outside the company.
