  • Overview

    Environment of Care Consultant will provide on-site consultation, education, and technical assistance to U.S. and international health care organizations. These positions work with the JCR Central Office Staff (based in Oak Brook, IL) to grow the business, develop proposals, and deliver consultation and customer education engagements. Additionally, our consultants maintain current knowledge of health care trends and proven solutions for improving patient care.





    The level of knowledge and experience equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a degree in health care or a related field. Seeking engineers or other Environment of Care professionals. Ten or more years of experience in health care, with seven to ten years of progressively more responsible experience in senior health care management or quality/performance improvement. Experience in a health care consulting role is highly desirable. Comprehensive knowledge of Joint Commission and/or JCI standards and survey process required, and current and relevant knowledge of health care issues and strategies. Excellent communication and computer literacy required.  Ability to adapt to diverse cultures and sometimes challenging travel conditions.

    Must to able to travel 100% of work time.  Looking for .50, .75, or 1.00 FTE.
