Overview

Drive and embed the talent management and development strategy of The Joint Commission enterprise, ensuring consistency within talent management processes and outcomes.  The Talent Management Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing all talent management processes, including performance management, leadership development, succession planning, high potential development, employee engagement, and the evaluation of these programs. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Align and drive all relevant components of talent management, including performance management; leadership development; succession planning; high potential development; and employee engagement to support organizational strategy and optimal performance across the enterprise.
  2. Assess employee engagement and develop and implement a strategic response.
  3. Facilitate the design and implementation of career paths and developmental tools.
  4. Implement performance management processes, monitor results, and facilitate development discussions. 
  5. Analyze and report metrics for succession planning, internal promotions, workforce planning, and performance management. Promote opportunities to use talent analytics to generate deeper insights and drive action in critical areas.
  6. Assist in the development of the executive coaching process.
  7. Stay updated with latest developments in field of leadership, development, and talent through research and benchmarking/best practice activities; exploring synergy opportunities for the wider enterprise.

Qualifications

Education & Experience Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, IO psychology, business, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of professional experience, with direct experience of HR best practices related to talent management.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record in implementing the design and delivery of new programs.
  • Ability to operate and influence at a strategic level, maintain composure and professionalism, and deliver results, despite organizational noise.
  • Strong analytical skills, using quantitative research methods.
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle and deliver multiple projects with aggressive implementation deadlines Ability to effectively analyze and synthesize large amounts of complex data into relevant, concise business insights 
  • Business communication, presentation, and writing skills. Ability to communicate technical information and data to a non-technical audience in a logical, concise manner.
