The Executive Director serves as the Business Leader of the Hospital Accreditation Programs as well as the “content expert” and “champion” responsible for ensuring the short-term performance and the long-term health of these programs. The Executive Director will be responsible for delivering on annual new accreditation applications and revenue targets. In this capacity, he / she is also responsible, in collaboration with Marketing, for the development and implementation of annual business plans for hospital accreditation programs. Provides input into all standards revisions and additions in accordance with leading practices, clinical advances and customer needs and serves as The Joint Commission’s representative to all customers and critical external stakeholders. Finally, the Executive Director will be responsible for driving collaboration across the Enterprise to ensure consistent and coordinated management of hospital accreditation customers.
