Overview

Assumes assistant and support responsibility to the Associate Director of International Education for planning, coordination, and management of a series of JCI international education programs. Works closely with International Consulting, International Accreditation, and the Regional Managing Directors in planning and coordinating content and products for international educational offerings in an integrated manner.  Coordinates with the JCR Marketing Department on communications and marketing initiatives related to JCI Knowledge Network offerings.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assumes responsibility, under the supervision of Associate Director of International Education, for assigned educational programs, including planning, product development, interdepartmental coordination, project management, marketing, monitoring and evaluation, and onsite coordination. Works closely with the Associate Director, International Education, to plan and coordinate the annual slate of international programs.     
  2. Responsible for delivering JCI Accreditation Update and other education programs assigned.  Ensure the education programs are executed with efficient processes, and excellent customer and faculty satisfaction.  If required, collaborates with JCI local business partners to execute education programs.
  3. Assists in the promotion of JCI through participation in international forums and meetings with clients, potential clients, external partners, corporate sponsors, and/or collaborating organizations.  Participates in relationship-building and marketing activities for JCI, including representing JCI at international conferences and meetings.
  4. Responsible for implementing and improving education operations and business processes including, but are not limited to, learner registration, post-education survey, customer service, and various reporting functions.
  5. Participates on JCR and JCI work teams and in other performance improvement activities as appropriate.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

  1. Undergraduate bachelor’s degree is required.
  2. Excellent organizational and planning skills are required.
  3. Knowledge and experience in working with clients and stakeholder groups in the health care environment, particularly in the areas of training and education, is highly desirable.
  4. Three to five years of progressively more responsible experience in education, product development, project management, and international healthcare or accreditation is highly desirable.
  5. Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, especially in working with client organizations around the world. The written and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively present information and ideas in proposals, position papers, and presentations.  Group facilitation skills are highly desired.
  6. Interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity necessary to effectively interact with clients, potential clients, expert consultants, partner organizations, ministries of health, stakeholder groups, and potential corporate sponsors.
  7. Ability to work effectively with the management and staff from all of JCR’s departments and product lines in coordinating the plans and offerings of the JCI Education.
  8. Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software required.
  9. Approximately 20% travel required.
