The compliance/legal intern provides support services to the Legal Department and the Corporate Compliance Officer in a wide variety of projects focused in the area of corporate law, healthcare law, corporate compliance and privacy. Legal research, drafting of documents, contract and policy review in support of meeting legal and regulatory requirements. Development of training tools, case studies, newsletters. Perform audits and/or monitors to determine if practice meets policy. May also support the General Counsel. Estimated minimum 16-24 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks. This is an unpaid position. In cooperation with college/university may consider it externship.
