Overview

 

The Lead Sitecore Developer, Enterprise Digital Marketing, serves as a Sitecore certified developer capable of performing the Lead Sitecore Developer role, designs, creates and maintains efficient and quality code, tests, implements and documents software application systems and processes leveraging Sitecore best practices. Able to translate requests from the business community into cloud solution, manage code development, daily scrum sessions, unit and QA regression testing plans, support daily website operations including break fix and enhancements to the Sitecore platform and other integrated software platforms. Demonstrates technical competence and leadership across a full life cycle of application development from initial requirements to final implementation. Works independently and with teams under general supervision according to established procedures and policies. He / She plays the primary role of: 1) Lead Sitecore Developer for daily support and project based enhancements of the Sitecore platform for The Joint Commission, Center for Transforming Health Care, Joint Commission Resources, and Joint Commission International and 2) ensure that all Sitecore development activity across all digital platforms supports the Enterprise’s website strategic and commercial goals.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant academic category with four to six years of experience in website development and support, ideally Sitecore.
  • Key knowledge of the following systems: Sitecore 7.1 or higher, Google Analytics, GTM
  •  Working knowledge of .NET Framework, ASP.net/SQL, C# programming and:
    • Coveo Search or similar search tools
    • FuseIT to Salesforce integration tool
    • Marketo
    • American Eagle iDev CMS
    • Microsoft SharePoint
    • Microsoft Office Suite Professional, focus on Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • HTML
    • Bootstrap

  •  Proficient with Microsoft .NET 3.5+ development using C# and VB.NET.  

  • In depth knowledge and experience with core Microsoft .Net technologies including:

    • WCF, LINQ and EF,
    • MVC, Web API, Windows Service, Schedule Task,
    • XML, XSLT, XSD,
    • SQL Server 2012,
    • Microsoft Team Foundation Server,
    • multi-threading and concurrency,
    • Release Manager
  • Demonstrated creativity and interpersonal skills for interacting with many constituencies.
  • Demonstrated capability to plan and coordinate multiple complex programs. 
  • Understanding of the role played by web and social media; understanding of web development tools. 
  • Basic web development skills; familiarity with use of content management systems; understanding of web design, architecture and usability.
