Assumes full profit-and-loss responsibility for Joint Commission Resources (JCR) Global Learning business. Creates the vision and strategies for the global learning business. Implements the supporting strategies to achieve the business vision. Ensures that global learning products are designed and developed in accordance with market and customer demand. Effectively inspires and leads Global Learning team staff. Collaborates and coordinates business with all internal and external business stakeholders and partners.

  1. Creates, validates, refines and optimizes business vision and strategy.
  2. Responsible for overall product management, product roadmap, technology implementation and innovation, content development and acquisition, implementation success and client satisfaction. Adjusts business plan and implementation priorities based on rapid market insight, client feedback and internal learning.
  3. Develop business synergy and integration with current international face to face education, international JCI consulting (JCIC) and international accreditation (JCIA)
  4. Collaborates with enterprise and JCR stakeholders including, but are not limited to, education, publications, consulting, accreditation, electronic products, corporate marketing, corporate IT, operation, finance, legal and JCI regional offices.
  5. Develops and owns annual business budget. Accelerates top line revenue growth and manages operating expenses to meet and exceed performance expectations.
  6. Develops business partnership, strategic alliance, content acquisition, product distribution and other go-after-market channels that are essential to scale the business globally.
  7. Reports business status and progress to senior JCR leadership on a regular basis.



  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or technology related field. MBA or MHA is preferred, but not required.
  2. At least 10 year experience in business, preferably with a global health care organization, with the most recent 5 years in senior business leadership position with responsibility of attaining revenue and expense budget. Proven track record in building high-performing teams, growing and innovating new business to market leadership position.
  3. Experience in marketing and selling to global healthcare organizations in developed, emerged, and emerging regions and countries.
  4. Knowledge of health care accreditation and quality and patient safety, as well as content management platforms and content development and acquisition processes.
  5. Experience in strategic thinking and business analysis. Understands market trends, market condition, market size, market penetration, market share, product positioning, product branding, product life cycle management, product pricing, market competition, competitive strategy, marketing and sales channels (e.g. direct sales, distribution, integration, partnership, alliance, acquisition and joint venture and etc.)
  6. Excellent experience in setting team goals, priorities, effectively delegating tasks, solving team conflicts, and promoting shared needs and interests of the team. Excellent listener.
  7. Exceptional written and spoken communication skills and interpersonal skills with experience leading large and complex multi-functional teams and interacting with technical, non-technical, professional, and executive levels across the organization. Excellent corporate change agent and experience in driving corporate changes (cultural, business, process and people)
  8. Highly motivated, intelligent, and energetic business executive, passionate about taking calculated risks, and growing new business in emerging market. Strong work ethic, attitude, integrity and leadership and maturity. Comfortable with working in a not-for-profit organizational culture with a strong mission.
  9. Up to 20% travel internationally.
