The Sitecore Developer, serves as a Sitecore certified developer capable of developing Website code leveraging Sitecore best practices, participate in requirements gathering, code development, scrum session, develop unit and QA regression testing plans, support daily website operations including break fix and enhancements to the Sitecore platform and other integrated software platforms. Under the direction of the Director, Enterprise Digital Marketing Manager, the person will produce business and technical requirements for the projects. This person will be creating new applications, enhance them and manage the security in support of applications access requirements for the package platform. He / She plays the primary role of: 1) daily support and project based enhancements of the Sitecore platform for The Joint Commission, Center for Transforming Health Care, Joint Commission Resources, and Joint Commission International and 2) ensure that all Sitecore development activity across all digital platforms supports the Enterprise’s strategic and commercial goals.



  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant academic category and two to four years of experience in website development and support, ideally Sitecore.
  • Key knowledge of the following systems:  Sitecore Certified Developer (Preferred), Google Analytics, GTM 
  • Working knowledge of .NET Framework,, C# programming and:
      • Coveo Search or similar search tools
      • FuseIT to Salesforce integration tool
      • Marketo
      • American Eagle iDev CMS
      • Microsoft SharePoint
      • Microsoft Office Suite Professional, focus on Word, Excel, PowerPoint
      • HTML
      • Bootstrap
  • Proficient with Microsoft .NET 3.5+ development using C# and VB.NET. In depth knowledge and experience with core Microsoft .Net technologies including:
    • WCF, LINQ and EF,
    • MVC, Web API, Windows Service, Schedule Task,
    • XML, XSLT, XSD,
    • SQL Server 2012,
    • Microsoft Team Foundation Server,
    • multi-threading and concurrency,
    • Release Manager 
  • Understanding of the role played by web and social media; understanding of web development tools.
  •  Basic web development skills; familiarity with use of content management systems; understanding of web design, architecture and usability.
  •  Demonstrated creativity and interpersonal skills for interacting with many constituencies.
  • Demonstrated capability to participate with planning and coordinate multiple complex programs.
